These days we are finilizing the archeological excavations at Vrbjanska Čuka, which we have been conducting for six years in cooperation with the Institute and Museum - Prilep and the Institute of Old Slavic Culture, and in which experts and students from the German Archaeological Institute, University of Basel, University of Belgrade, University of Heidelberg and Goce Delchev University participate as well.
We are very pleased to announce that we will finish this year's fieldwork with a concert by the renowned Macedonian band Luboyna, who on this occasion will perform at Vrbjanska Čuka with a specially prepared program and intimate performance. Luboyna, who are widely known for their combination of modern and traditional music, will introduce the audience to a mystical ambience at this performance and will provide us with a different experience of this beautiful Pelagonian mound.
Welcome to the concert of Luboyna on Sunday (August 29) at 18:30, which we are organizing together with our friends from the Prilep Jazz Weekend. At the same time you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the distant past of Vrbjanska Čuka and see some of the ancient remains of Neolithic buildings and economic structures, Classical deposit pits and Medieval burials.
